Delete your account

What gets deleted

• Your sign-in (email and password).
• Your profile: display name, XP and settings saved to your account.
• Your library: watchlist, watched titles, ratings, notes, favourites and taste picks.
• All your friendships and pending friend requests.
• Data NextWatch keeps in this browser.

What happens to rooms and other devices

If you're in a room, you leave it; if you're hosting one, it closes for everyone. Rooms aren't stored, so nothing remains afterwards. Other signed-in devices lose access when their session next refreshes.

What may remain

Anonymous search metrics can't be linked to you and aren't deleted. Hosting backups may keep a copy until they expire ([Owner to complete: backup retention period]). Deletion from the live database happens immediately; backups do not.

Delete now

Sign in first: sign in, then come back here or use Settings → Your data → Delete my account. Guest data lives only in your browser; clear it from Settings → Your data → Delete watch history. Can't sign in? Email support@nextwatch.store from the address on the account.
